The pre-release event for NTR’s soon-to-release pan-India action drama, Devara, was supposed to be held this evening at the Novotel Hotel in Hyderabad amid a lot of hype and anticipation. Fans from across the country thronged the star hotel in large numbers. But unfortunately, the event had to be cancelled after the crowd went berserk and the situation turned difficult to control.
To pacify all his dejected fans, NTR released a special video in which he expressed regret over the event cancellation. “The cancellation of the Devara pre-release event today is quite unfortunate. You all know how painful it is for me. I was excitedly looking forward to talking about our hard work and experience of working on Devara with you. But unfortunately, the event had to be cancelled due to security reasons,” said Tarak.
The Devara hero went on to say, “My pain is greater than yours. I feel it’s wrong to blame Devara producers or the event organizers for the cancellation. I am indebted to your love for life. Even though we couldn’t meet today, you all are going to watch Devara on September 27, and it’s my responsibility to make you proudly raise your collar after watching the movie. That happiness is difficult to express in words.”
NTR further said that director Koratala Siva worked very hard to make Devara, and urged all his fans to watch and enjoy the movie. He also urged all his fans to return home safely. Tarak concluded his video message with the “Jai NTR” slogan.
