Naga Chaitanya reveals why his maiden web series is getting delayed

Naga Chaitanya, who will be next seen in the film Custody, is busy giving interviews. In one of the interviews, the actor was asked about his web series Dhootha which Vikram K Kumar directed. By now, the web series should have come, but there has been no update from its digital partner Amazon Prime Video.

Naga Chaitanya said that the shooting had been wrapped up long back, and it is in the hands of Prime Video to decide the release date. “The procedures of Amazon Prime Video are quite in contrast to the Telugu film industry,” said Naga Chaitanya.

The young actor stated that once a product is handed over to Prime Video, there would be four to five months of processes, including subtitling work, dubbing in other languages, legal, due diligence, etc. Chaitanya added that only after completing all these procedures Prime Video will announce the release date.

“When I met their representatives a couple of days back, they informed me that the series might arrive after July,” said Chaitanya. He also added that their team is so confident in Dhootha and revealed that there would be a part 2 to the series.
