Dhanush’s Tamil-Telugu bilingual Vaathi/SIR has been released today in theatres worldwide. The mouth talk is positive for this social drama directed by Venky Atluri. Elated by the response, the film’s producer Naga Vamsi and director Venky Atluri addressed the media.
Naga Vamsi said he related to the film’s story because his parents sold their land to get him a seat in an engineering college. Naga Vamsi noted that director Venky initially narrated a family subject, but they wanted to try something unique.
The young producer stated from Proddutur to Guntur to Vijayawada and Tirupathi, SIR is running to packed houses in Telugu states. He further stated that they sold the film to distributors at reasonable rates and added that they all were highly ecstatic with the film’s opening. Naga Vamsi firmly said that SIR would turn out to be a blockbuster.
