Nani is currently celebrating the massive success of his recent film, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram. The movie is performing well at the box office. In other news, Nani attended the pre-release event for 35-Chinna Katha Kaadu last night, which is set to release this Friday.
During his speech, Nani spoke highly of Priyadarshi, who plays the role of Maths teacher Chanakya Varma in the film. The Hi Nanna actor expressed his admiration for Priyadarshi’s diverse roles, noting that while Priyadarshi does comedy, he also takes on content-driven serious characters. This versatility led Nani to refer to Priyadarshi as the Aamir Khan of Tollywood.
Nani further mentioned that if Priyadarshi is Tollywood’s Aamir Khan, then 35-Chinna Katha Kaadu is the Taare Zameen Par of Telugu cinema. This comparison from Nani is big, as he is known for making such statements only when a film and its actors have exceptional potential.
Early reports from a limited special screening have generated positive responses, and the makers are confident, organising paid premieres today and tomorrow in multiple cities across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Directed by Nanda Kishore Emani, the film stars Nivetha Thomas, Vishwadev Rachakonda, Gautami, Bhagyaraj, and others in prominent roles. Produced by Siddharth Rallapalli and Srujan Yarabolu, with Rana Daggubati backing the project, 35-Chinna Katha Kaadu features music by Vivek Sagar.
