The Hindi version of Kalki 2898 AD sealed the third position in the national chains advances in 2024. The mythological sci-fi entertainer sold 1,25,000 tickets for the opening day in PIC (PVR, Inox, Cinepolis), and it is only next to Mr. And Ms. Mahi and Fighter. Kalki occupied the third spot along with Article 370.
But Mr. And Mrs. Mahi and Article 370 got benefitted from Cinema Lovers Day (ticket rates were Rs. 99). Kalki will open much bigger than these two movies as its average ticket price is more comparatively. The Nag Ashwin’s directorial is poised to open around 20-25 crore nett in the Hindi belt. If the feedback from the audience is positive, it may go much higher.
