Nayanthara’s open letter criticizing Dhanush shocks one and all – Deets inside

The open letter released by Nayanthara against actor Dhanush has come as a big shock to one and all. We all know that a documentary named Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairy Tale was made on the actress’s life, including elements about her love and marriage. It goes without saying that documentaries on movie celebrities include clips of their films.

However, Nayanthara was denied the usage of songs and clips from Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in the documentary. Dhanush produced the film, and it ended up as a box-office blockbuster. The film directed by Vignesh Shivan has amazing songs and is rated as one of Nayanthara’s best films. However, Dhanush refused to issue a NOC (No Objection Certificate) for the usage of the film’s content despite multiple requests made by Nayanthara.

Hence, the actress used a 3-second BTS video of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, for which Dhanush issued a legal notice demanding Rs. 10 crores in compensation. This move by Dhanush baffled Nayanthara and prompted her to release an open letter. Nayanthara made some shocking allegations in this letter against Dhanush.

Nayanthara wrote, “I wish you were half the person you portray to be in audio launches in front of your innocent fans. You do not practice what you preach. I have not forgotten all the words that you said about Naanum Rowdy Dhaan before its release. Your words left some unhealable scars. I learned that your ego was supremely hurt when the film became a blockbuster.”

Nayanthara added, “Your displeasure over the film’s success was even perceptible to the common man through Filmfare 2016. Anyone with the right conscience will not accept such tyranny. This is an all-time low from you and speaks much about your character. You might justify your action from a copyright angle, but there is a moral side to it which has to be defended in the court of God.”

“You may fabricate some fake story, pack it with some lines, and deliver it in your next audio launch, but God is watching. I wish to introduce the German word “schadenfreude” into your vocabulary and ensure that you don’t taste that emotion with us or anyone anymore,” mentioned Nayanthara.
