After facing a setback with Beast, Nelson Dilipkumar joined forces with Superstar Rajinikanth on the action drama Jailer, which became one of the biggest hits of Indian cinema in 2023. Following this success, reports came out that Nelson would be teaming up with Icon Star Allu Arjun on a PAN Indian film.
It’s said that Nelson narrated a unique idea to Allu Arjun, who expressed interest and requested the director to come up with the bound script. Meanwhile, Nelson was also developing Jailer 2’s script. Hence, everyone wondered what the next film of the Kollywood director would be.
Nelson has now produced Kavin’s Bloody Beggar, and during its promotions, the director made it clear that Jailer 2 would be his immediate project. Nelson stated that the gigantic success of Jailer motivated him to produce a film. However, Nelson said he isn’t sure if Jailer 2 would be Rajinikanth’s immediate film after Coolie. We need to see whether or not Nelson would collaborate with Allu Arjun after Jailer 2.
