Heist action comedy entertainer Robinhood, headlined by Nithiin, is up for a grand release on March 28. There are good expectations around this film as it is coming from the director of Chalo and Bheeshma. Australian star cricketer David Warner played a special cameo. Sreeleela essayed the female lead. The theatrical trailer unveiled yesterday looked promising.
In one of the interviews, Nithiin revealed that Robinhood wouldn’t be limited to comedy and would also carry a strong message. However, Nithiin made it clear that the message would be delivered in a commercial style without being preachy.
Drawing a comparison with Bheeshma, the actor said, “Bheeshma has a social message, and so does Robinhood. Just like Bheeshma, the treatment will be in a lighter tone in Robinhood. However, the subject that we are dealing with will be more substantial than Bheeshma.”
Will Nithiin get back to the winning ways with this Venky Kudumula’s directorial? We will know that in a few more days. Robinhood also stars Devdatta Nage, Rajendra Prasad, Vennela Kishore, Shine Tom Chacko, Aadukulam Naren, Mime Gopi, and Subhaleka Sudhakar in pivotal roles.
