Despite delivering blockbusters like Mahanati and Kalki 2898 AD, director Nag Ashwin remains remarkably grounded. While fans of Prabhas eagerly await updates on the sequel to Kalki 2898 AD, Ashwin recently made a rare public appearance and interacted with a few attendees at an event.
When asked if there were any films he wished he had directed, Ashwin responded that he never really thought that way. However, he did share that he would’ve loved to be the editor for a few films. He specifically mentioned Mahesh Babu’ Khaleja and Vijay Deverakonda’s Dear Comrade – both strong in content and well-received by the audience, but not quite successful at the box office. The crowd erupted with cheers when Khaleja was mentioned, showing just how beloved the film still is.
Meanwhile, rumours are abuzz that Nag Ashwin is working on a new project with Bollywood star Alia Bhatt. As for the Kalki 2898 AD sequel, it may take some time before it officially goes on floors. Stay tuned for more updates.
