Following the massive success of Devara, all eyes are on NTR’s 31st project, which will be directed by mass action entertainers specialist Prashanth Neel. Tentatively titled Dragon, the film is a joint production by Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts banners.
The historic global success of the Baahubali franchise had paved the way to the trend of franchise films. Almost each and every star’s film is being made as a 2-part franchise, including NTR’s Devara. However, the latest buzz has it that the NTR-Prashanth Neel film will not be treading the franchise part, as it will be a standalone project. However, an official announcement in this regard is awaited.
For the past couple of days, speculations have been rife that Sapta Saagaradaache Ello fame Rukmini Vasanth has been roped in for the female lead’s part. KGF and Salaar composer Ravi Basrur will score the music for this intense action drama. The film is scheduled to open in cinemas worldwide on January 9, 2026.
