NTR’s Devara stays steady on day 7 in Telugu states

NTR’s Devara had a very good first week at the ticket windows. The big-ticket entertainer directed by Koratala Siva succeeded in entertaining the Telugu and Hindi audiences. Despite the low-key buzz in Hindi initially, the action drama performed well in the mass pockets and is on the verge of crossing Rs. 50 crores nett. Devara has already zoomed past Rs. 400 crores gross mark at the global box office.

The movie picked up superbly on Gandhi Jayanthi, and even after the national holiday, the NTR starrer is holding well at decent levels. On day 7, the movie earned a distributor share of Rs. 2.64 crores from Telugu states. The high budget action film is performing exceptionally in the Ceeded area.

In its first week Devara collected a whopping Rs.109 crores share (Doesn’t include GST) from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The movie is expected to register solid growth this weekend. Devara will have to face new opponents in the form of Vettaiyan, Viswam, and Maa Nanna Superhero next week. Let’s see how this NTR starrer will perform in its second week amidst heavy competition.
