Yesterday, the makers of Rajinikanth’s Coolie surprised one and all by announcing that Tollywood King Nagarjuna is part of the gangster action drama. This Lokesh Kanagaraj’s directorial is set against the backdrop of gold smuggling. As promised, the makers launched another character poster today.

Star heroine Shruti Haasan is now on board for this big-ticket entertainer. Lokesh has indeed pulled off a casting coup by roping in star performers like Nagarjuna and Shruti Haasan. The Gabbar Singh actress looks intense in the first look poster, and she plays Preethi in this flick. If Aamir Khan is also part of Coolie as being speculated, then the sky will be the limit for box office annihilation.

Lokesh is presenting Rajini in a grey-shaded role and this is also adding up to the excitement. Coolie isn’t part of LCU and is a standalone project with a different plot. Sun Pictures is bankrolling the film on a massive scale. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the tunes. The shoot is underway in Vizag.
