This afternoon, producer K.E. Gnanavel Raja held an interactive session with the media about his big-ticket entertainer, Kanguva. The producer said, “Many films had mixed reviews on the opening day, but later their verdicts changed. I am hoping the same for Kanguva. We received complaints about sound and are working on it.” While speaking about Kanguva, the producer made an interesting revelation.
K.E. Gnanavel Raja added, “Kanguva will emerge as Suriya’s highest-grosser in four days. Kanguva 2 is very much on. But as everyone knows, Siruthai Siva has a project with Ajith sir (AK64). Ajith sir’s film will commence in April 2025. By the year end Siva will start working on Kanguva 2.”
This will be Siruthai Siva’s fifth movie with Ajith after Veeram, Vedalam, Vivegam, and Viswasam. Except for Vivegam, the other three ran well in Tamil Nadu by striking a chord with the masses. Amidst heavy criticism for Kanguva, we need to see how Ajith’s fans would react to this combo. The star Kollywood actor. is currently working on two films, Vidaa Muyarchi and Good Bad Ugly.
