Hindi language drama film Zwigato, headlined by Kapil Sharma, was released in March 2023. Directed by Nandita Das, the film is about a person, who is forced to work as a food delivery rider after losing his job. The movie received critical acclaim, but it didn’t make any impact at the box office.
Audiences have been waiting for Zwigato’s OTT release, but much to everyone’s surprise, the movie took more than a year to arrive on a digital platform. Finally, Zwigato is now available for streaming on Prime Video in Hindi audio along with English subtitles.
Zwigato was screened at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival before its theatrical release. The movie also stars Shahana Goswami and Tushar Acharya in crucial roles. It was bankrolled by Applause Entertainment and Nandita Das Initiatives. Sagar Desai composed the background score, while songs were provided by Hitesh Sonik.
