Vicky Kaushal’s biggest blockbuster, Chhaava, based on Chhatrapati Shivaji’s son Sambhaji Maharaj’s life, smashed many records at the box office. Tanhaji (based on the trusted warrior of Chhatrapati Shivaji), headlined by Ajay Devgn, created mayhem in Maharashtra in 2020. Hence, there was good hype for Chhaava from the very beginning. On the expected lines, Chhaava has shattered all existing records in Maharashtra.
This period action drama premiered on Netflix yesterday. Initially, only the Hindi version was made available, which disappointed Telugu movie lovers. However, the latest update reveals that the streaming platform has now added the Telugu dubbed version, too. People can now enjoy this mega blockbuster in Hindi and Telugu audios along with English subtitles.
We need to see if Chhaava will be available in other South Indian languages, too. Chhaava has Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. Akshaye Khanna played the nemesis of Vicky Kaushal. This Laxman Utekar’s directorial is bankrolled by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films, the banner that has been mostly delivering hit films lately. Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman has provided the music.
