Baahubali: The Beginning, the epic blockbuster directed by internationally acclaimed SS Rajamouli, is once again making waves – this time on the global OTT scene. The 2015 film, which wowed audiences in India and abroad, starred Prabhas and Rana Daggubati in powerful lead roles, with Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah Bhatia playing pivotal characters.
Now, Netflix has added a fresh twist to the film’s global journey by streaming it exclusively in Spanish, complete with English subtitles. While the reason behind this sudden move remains unclear, it’s expected to further expand the film’s reach among international viewers.
The first chapter of the Baahubali saga also boasts an ensemble cast including Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj, Adivi Sesh, and Nassar. Penned by Vijayendra Prasad and featuring a grand soundtrack by MM Keeravaani, the film was produced by Arka Media Works and went on to earn a staggering Rs. 600 crore worldwide.
