Actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, last seen in Madha Gaja Raja, has been busy with multiple projects. Interestingly, one of her older films, Madhushala, which many were unaware of, has now quietly premiered on ETV Win.
Directed by G. Sudhakar and produced by Thammudu Satyam under SIA Creative Works, Madhushala is an intense crime thriller. The plot follows a meticulously planned kidnapping of an MLA’s daughter-in-law, orchestrated by a skilled operative who enlists five accomplices. However, when one of them dies in an accident, the plan spirals out of control, leading to unforeseen twists. As chaos unfolds, the MLA must act swiftly to outsmart the kidnappers and rescue his loved one.
The film also has Manoj Nandham, Annie, Inaya Sulthana, Tanikella Bharani, Raghubabu, Getup Srinu, Rocket Raghava, Chinna, Ravi Varma, Jyoth, and Sana in key roles. Sebastian Vargheese is the music director.
Surprisingly, the film received no promotional push, not even from its lead actors. Whether this two-year-old thriller will capture the attention of OTT audiences remains to be seen.
