It’s been five years since the popular TVF series Panchayat was premiered on Prime Video. Till now, three seasons have been released, and they have garnered a staggering viewership. Panchayat has a dedicated fanbase among the Telugu audience, too. It was also remade in Telugu as Sivarapalli.
Marking the fifth anniversary, Prime Video made a special announcement today. Accordingly, the fourth season will be available for streaming from July 2, 2025. The series stars Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Chandan Roy, Sanvikaa, Faisal Malik, and others in pivotal roles.
Panchayat 4 is created by Deepak Kumar Mishra and Chandan Kumar. The web show is directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and Akshat Vijaywargiya. Panchayat is about an engineering graduate who accepts the position of a panchayat secretary in Phulera after struggling to find a job. Apart from overseeing the issues in the village, the protagonist toils hard to crack CAT.
The show highlights the challenges of rural India, the dynamics of local governance, and the complex relationships that exist in small communities while maintaining a lighthearted and comedic tone.
