The stalwarts of the Indian Cricket Team (ICT) posed for a cool group photo with the newlyweds, which is now gaining massive traction on social media. Gambhir and Dhoni sported black T-shirts and were all smiles in the widely shared photograph.
Gambhir and Dhoni played match-winning knocks in the 2011 ODI World Cup Final against Sri Lanka at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. However, these cricketers have often shared a complex relationship. The controversy began when Dhoni was given complete credit by the media and the public for the World Cup victory.
Gambhir has openly expressed his dissatisfaction several times, making him a hater among Dhoni fans. Adding fuel to the fire, Gambhir once tweeted that people should get over their obsession with a six (Dhoni’s famous WC winning shot).
