Crores of devotees have thronged Prayagraj to take the holy dip in the sacred Ganges as part of the Maha Kumbh. The Kumbh Mela has become the world’s biggest religious gathering, with lakhs of common people and several celebrities taking the holy dip every single day.
Tollywood star Vijay Deverakonda, too, took the holy dip at the Maha Kumbh recently. The actor took to his social media pages and shared a few pictures from his Kumbh and Kashi visits. Seen in this picture are Vijay and his mother offering special prayers during their holy dip. “Saying Prayers with mummy dearest,” Vijay captioned the picture. In another picture taken in Kashi, Vijay was seen posing with his mother, Allu Arjun’s wife Sneha Reddy, director Vamshi Paidipally, and others.
Vijay Deverakonda described the 2025 Kumbhmela as “a journey to connect, pay respect to our epic origins and roots.” On the movies front, Vijay will next be seen in the highly anticipated pan-India action drama, Kingdom. The film’s teaser was unveiled last week, and it received a unanimous positive response from fans.
