Horror film Bramayugam, starring Mollywood Megastar Mammootty, opened to positive reviews from critics. They are hailing Bramaugam as a one-of-a-kind film with an award-winning performance from Mammootty. The movie was written and directed by Rahul Sadasivan, who also directed Bhoothakalam.
Bramayugam had good advances prior to its release, and with strong word of mouth coming in, the movie earned 3 crores gross from the Kerala box office on the opening day. Malayalam movies have a good GCC market, and Bramaugam raked in 3.3 crores gross from this region. The total day-one collections are said to be in the range of 7.6 crores, which is phenomenal.
As the talk is good, Bramayugam is expected to set the cash registers ringing in the coming days. The movie, produced jointly by Chakravarthy Ramachandra & S.Sashikanth, also stars Arjun Ashokan, Sidharth Bharathan, Amalda Liz, and Manikandan R. Achari in prominent roles. T.D. Ramakrishnan penned the dialogues, while Christo Xavier composed the tunes.
