With the romantic action drama Thandel, director Chandoo Mondeti scored one more hit in his career. Despite releasing in a dry season, the Naga Chaitanya starrer minted over Rs. 100 crores gross. It is already known that Chandoo Mondeti has a project with Tamil star hero Suriya. The script is also locked, but the film is yet to go on floors due to Suriya’s packed lineup.
According to a recent report in Telugu media, Chandoo Mondeti is thinking of making a Telugu movie before moving on to Suriya’s film. The director reportedly met Ram Pothineni and pitched him an idea. Ram is said to have liked the idea and expressed interest in collaborating with the Karthikeya franchise director. Geetha Arts will likely bankroll the project as per the report.
Currently, Ram Pothineni is working on a film with director Mahesh Babu. P, who earlier made Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty. Apart from this, Ram is yet to announce any new movie. If everything goes well, Ram Pothneni and Chandoo Mondeti’s film will kickstart once the actor completes his existing commitment.
