National Award-winning actor Dhanush’s recent directorial Raayan emerged as a blockbuster at the ticket windows. Dhanush’s third directorial, NEEK (Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam), will be out in theatres soon. The movie stars Anika Surendran, Pavish, Priya Prakash Varrier, Matthew Thomas, Venkatesh Menon, Rabiya Khatoon, and Ramya Ranganathan in the lead roles.
The first single, Golden Sparrow, featuring actress Priyanka Mohan, is now a rage on YouTube with over 50 million views. The song brought good hype to this youthful drama. In an interview, Priyanka Mohan revealed how she landed the role in NEEK. Priyanka said, “Dhanush was talking about NEEK during the shoot of Captain Miller. One day, he called me and said there was this special song in the film. He asked me if I was interested in doing it.”
Priyanka Mohan added, “I took some time to give my nod. I am present in the full video song. We just released the lyrical video, but there is a hook step in it. The team wanted to introduce the youngsters through the song. There is one more special video related the song, which will be unveiled close to the film’s release.”
Priyanka added that she loved the song pretty much. It was further disclosed that the team shot the song in just one day without any rehearsal. The charming beauty will be next seen in Jayam Ravi’s Brother, which is scheduled for Diwali release.
