Producers of Sankranti releases met at the Telugu Film Chamber today. Dil Raju, the President of Telugu Film Chamber, was present at the meeting. Naga Vamsi, producer of Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram, TG Vishwa Prasad, producer of Eagle, and Srinivas Chutturi, producer of Naa Saami Ranga were present.
But Niranjan Reddy, who is backing the fantasy action drama HanuMan, didn’t make it to the meeting. The word is that none of the producers are interested in backing out from the Sankranti race. The producers are very firm about releasing their films for the festival.
Every producer is claiming that they were the ones to announce the release date first. Dil Raju told them that a decision will be taken about the issue in the next week. Let’s see what happens now.
