At IIFA Goa 2024, King Nagarjuna made a massive announcement that is sure to bring joy to the faces of Icon Star Allu Arjun fans. Very soon, Nagarjuna will be launching Dolby Cinema and Dolby Vision in his Annapurna Studios. Till now, this technology isn’t available in our country. He plans to launch it with the much anticipated PAN Indian film Pushpa 2: The Rule.
Pushpa 2 is poised to create history as it will be the first Dolby movie in India. Nagarjuna said, “Rajamouli Garu wanted to do RRR in Dolby Vision, but there was no facility anywhere in India at that time. He had to go to Germany to achieve his vision. At that point, our family decided that we were going to have Dolby Vision and Dolby Cinema in India.”
Nagarjuna added, “Hopefully we will launch it Pushpa 2. Apart from Dolby Vision, Dolby Cinema, and Dolby Sound, we have Dolby Atmos Theatre in our studio, and it is among the twelve theatres in the world. We have it in India with us. Dolby representatives came and visited us. They loved the facilities and made us the exclusive ones in India. If anybody in India wants to make a film in Dolby Vision, they need to come to us.”
