Yet another acclaimed film is all set to hit theaters once again in this season of re-releases. We are talking about Rajamouli and Nithiin’s 2004 sports drama, Sye. The film is gearing up for its world theatrical release soon. The exact date of the film’s re-release will be announced soon. Noted distribution house Mega Productions will be re-releasing Sye worldwide in 4K resolution.
Sye was a major technical achievement two decades ago. The film was also a huge gamble played by Rajamouli, who centered the film’s story around the not-so-familiar rugby sport. Even though the film didn’t set the cash registers upon its release, it managed to end up being an average grosser.
Sye also featured Bollywood actress Genelia, Pradeep Rawat, Rajeev Kanakala, and others in lead roles. The film was produced by A Bharathi, and it had a chartbuster audio album composed by MM Keeravani. Stay tuned for further updates.
