Numero uno Indian director SS Rajamouli recently concluded the second schedule for his highly anticipated globe-trotting jungle adventure thriller featuring Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Prithviraj Sukumaran in lead roles. The latest schedule was held at the picturesque Koraput district in Odisha.
Rajamouli took to X on Wednesday night and shared a video of his solo trek to Deomali, Odisha’s highest peak. Rajamouli wrote that the view from the top was absolutely breathtaking. The maverick director expressed sorrow over the sad state of affairs as the mountain peak was filled with the garbage thrown all over by trekkers. “It was disheartening to see the trail marred by litter. Such pristine wonders deserve better. A little civic sense can make a huge difference… Every visitor should carry back their waste to help protect these places,” he wrote.
On Tuesday, after Rajamouli wrapped up the action-packed schedule for SSMB29, hundreds of fans met with the star director and greeted him with special gifts made by the local SHGs. In a handwritten note, Rajamouli thanked the people of Koraput for their warm hospitality and promised them that he would return for further shoots in the region.
