Star heroine Rashmika Mandanna’s upcoming Kannada film, Pogaru, has landed in a huge controversy. The recently released hit song ‘Karabuu’ from the film’s audio album has been receiving immense criticism from all quarters.

The song in question showcases the film’s hero Dhruva Sarja stalking Rashmika and trying to convince her to love him in several outrageous ways. Naturally, this has not gone down well with feminists and women’s rights activists, who have been demanding that the song be taken down from YouTube immediately and also removed from the movie.

Pogaru is directed by Nanda Kishore and produced by BK Gangadhar. Chandan Shetty has composed the controversial song.
