From the time the first trailer of NTR and Koratala Siva’s Devara was launched online, there have been countless fan theories floating around. A few opine that Vara’s character (young Tarak) is not timid, as shown in the trailer, while a few opine Tarak is essaying a triple role. Some say that Devara and Vara are brothers but not father and son.
Amidst these fan theories, Devara cinematographer Rathnavelu gave a statement which should reduce the confusion to some extent. “There are many speculations. The project is getting bigger with each day. We know about present-day YouTubers. They can say whatever they want. NTR is playing a dual role.”
When asked if NTR plays father and son, Rathnavelu said, “It’s just not father and son alone. You are trying to take something from me. You will get to know that in a few days.” Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan play vital roles. Anirudh Ravichander composed the tunes.
