After the KGF franchise, Yash will be next seen in the gangster action drama Toxic. Earlier, it was reported that Bollywood star heroine Kareena Kapoor will play Yash’s sister in the film, which will be helmed by female director Geetu Mohandas. A recent report in Bollywood mentioned that Kareena won’t be part of this big-ticket entertainer.
The report stated that Kareena walked out of the project due to scheduling conflict (date issues). “The makers tried their best to get Kareena on board for the sister role, but the actress’s dates didn’t align with that of the Sandalwood star. Hence, Kareena exited the project, and the decision was an amicable one,” mentioned the report.
It is further noted that the makers have already initiated talks with several actresses. The sister’s emotion is said to be crucial in the narrative, and the team wanted to cast someone who enjoys a huge following across the country. Kiara Advani will romance Yash in this flick. Toxic is scheduled for release on 10th April 2025.
