Spirit is the most exciting project in Prabhas’ lineup without an iota of doubt. The film marks the first collaboration between the biggest PAN India star and sensational director, Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The project is currently in the pre-production stage and is expected to go on floors in the first quarter of 2025. According to a report in Pink Villa, the makers are in talks with Mrunal Thakur for the female lead role.
The report mentioned, “The makers are going all out to rope in some of the best talents in the country. Sandeep Reddy Vanga initiated talks with the B-town couple Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan to play the antagonists. It is a cop-action drama that will redefine the genre in India. Vanga will reintroduce Prabhas like never before in Spirit.”
Rumors sprouted online that Don Lee would join the Spirit cast after the South Korean actor shared a poster of Prabhas’ Salaar on his Instagram story. However, according to Pink Villa, Sandeep Vanga seems to be interested in casting Kareena and Saif as the baddies. The report further revealed that Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan would be seen as a couple in this flick produced by T-Series.
