Rangasthalam is a special film in Ram Charan and Sukumar’s careers. The duo have once again joined forces for a film tentatively titled RC17, which will probably start rolling next year. Till now, there is no information about the genre and film’s subject. During RRR promotions, SS Rajamouli said that he knew about the opening sequence and that the audience would quiver in their seats.
According to a recent report in the Deccan Chronicle, RC17 will be entirely different from Rangasthalam. The report stated, “The duo’s previous blockbuster was a rural drama. In stark contrast, RC17 will present the star actor in a stylish, urbane look, offering a fresh persona for fans. Sukumar’s Pushpa franchise was also set in rural landscapes, but now he is interested in exploring a slick, contemporary action flick with elements of romance and adventure in exotic locations.”
Currently, the star is busy with the shoot of his new film, which is being directed by Buchi Babu Sana. Ram Charan will be next seen in Game Changer, a political action drama directed by Shankar. The film has been in the making for a while and is set to release for Sankranthi 2025.
