After the mighty blockbuster KGF, Yash joined hands with lady director Geetu Mohandas for a film called Toxic. The brother-sister emotion is said to be Toxic’s major highlight, and the makers initially roped in Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor for the sister role. However, Kareena backed out at the last minute, citing date issues. Then the team approached Lady Superstar Nayanthara and she instantly gave her nod.
The latest update is that Yash and Nayanthara have started shooting for the film in India. The director has planned 200 days of shoot, and the major part will be shot in London. According to a report in Bollywood media, Yash will be seen as a stylish don in Toxic and the film will be along the lines of popular British web series Peaky Blinders.
Kiara Advani plays the leading lady opposite Yash. The film comes with the tagline “Fairy tale for grown-ups.” Toxic will open in cinemas on 10th April 2025. Venkat K Narayana is producing this gangster action drama under the banner of KVN Productions.
