Nithiin and Venky Kudumula’s second film, Robinhood, is coming to big screens this Friday. The movie stars Sreeleela as the female lead and features Australian cricketer David Warner in a special cameo. Though Robinhood is facing huge competition, the makers are hopeful that the tables will turn once the film is released.

During Robinhood’s release press meet, the producer was asked why the team didn’t opt for paid premieres. Mythri Ravi Shankar said, “We haven’t thought of premieres. There won’t be much difference even if we avoid premieres. We are highly confident in the output. It’s a wholesome entertainer packaged with all elements. The holiday season will also help us.”

Mythri Ravi Shankar added, “We don’t intend to screen paid premieres, though we are confident. Also, those premieres have become a bad omen for us in recent times (referring to Pushpa 2). We faced a few issues lately. In a way, you can think we are being sentimental.”
