Rukmini Vasanth received accolades for her performance in the Kannada film Sapta Sagaradaache Ello (Sapta Sagaralu Dhaati in Telugu). Her exceptional work has garnered her numerous offers from across South India. Recently, she collaborated with the renowned Kollywood director AR Murugadoss and the charismatic ‘Prince’ Sivakarthikeyan, who plays the lead role in the movie.
In a recent interview, the actress revealed the reason behind being offered the lead role in the film, tentatively titled SK23. “Director Murugadoss saw some of my clips in the ACE film and was impressed with my performance. He offered me the female lead role in the Sivakarthikeyan film,” said the gorgeous actress. She also mentioned that Sivakarthikeyan is a friendly co-star, very supportive during the shoot, and a really sweet person.
SK23 boasts a star-studded cast, including Bollywood actor Vidyut Jammwal, Mollywood star Biju Menon, and Vikranth, who play pivotal roles. The film is produced by N.V. Prasad under the banner of Sri Lakshmi Movies, with music composed by the Rock Star Anirudh Ravichander.
