Sad news for Netflix users in India – Deets inside

Netflix is one of India’s most popular OTT platforms, known for its quality and wide range of content. However, its subscription plans are relatively expensive compared to other OTT platforms in India.

Today, Netflix India announced an update that may disappoint many users. The streaming service revealed that it would restrict its users from sharing their passwords with anyone outside their household. In an official statement, Netflix stated that “A Netflix account is for use by one household. Everyone living in that household can use Netflix wherever they are — at home, on the go, on holiday — and take advantage of new features like Transfer Profile and Manage Access and Devices.”

Netflix has already started emailing users in India about this new policy. Therefore, it is no longer possible for any Indian user to share their Netflix account with friends. More details on this update will be available soon.
