King Khan Shahrukh’s Pathaan broke several box office records. It is the first straight Hindi film to collect over 500 crores nett at the domestic box office. As of now, Pathaan is the highest-grossing film in India in 2023. If we consider the all-time highest grossers in Hindi cinema, Pathaan stands next to Dangal.
The latest news is that this blockbuster is up for a grand release in Russia on July 13. The word is that the Russian version will release in more than 3000 screens. This is the widest release ever for an Indian flick in Russia.
Dangal got heavily benefited from China collections, and it should be seen if the Russian version of Pathaan can contribute significantly to its gross collections. Pathaan, directed by Siddharth Anand, has Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in key roles. YRF Films bankrolled this heavy-budget spy thriller.
