Versatile character artiste Dr. Naresh Vijayakrishna completed 50 glorious years in films. Naresh made his acting debut as a child actor with the 1970 film, Rendu Kutumbala Katha. He went on to become a lead actor with the Jandhyala directorial, Nalugu Sthambhalata, in 1982.
Naresh celebrated his golden jubilee milestone with a grand event attended by his yesteryear co-stars, including the 80s heroines, heroes, directors, producers, friends, and family members. The event was held on August 11, and it also marked the inauguration of Naresh’s countryside residence in Chilkur and the Vijayakrishna Mandhir & Ghattamaneni Indira Devi Spoorthi Vanam (Inspiration Park).
Popular Bollywood actors Jackie Shroff and Poonam Dhillon, and 80s South heroines such as Jayasudha, Suhasini Mani Ratnam, Kushboo, Jayasudha, Pavithra Lokesh, and several others attended the celebrations. Speaking on the occasion, Naresh said that the park is his gift to future filmmakers and the public. The Spoorthi Vanam (Inspiration Park) is designed as a memorial for the legends who contributed to the film industry. The park was inaugurated with the unveiling of the statues of Superstar Krishna and Vijaya Nirmala.
Tollywood heroes Sai Durgha Tej and Manoj Manchu, directors Maruthi, Anudeep, and Sairam Abbaraju, actor Ali, music director Koti, director Satish Vegesna, and producers Sharath Marar and Radha Mohan, along with numerous celebrities from the Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil film industries, graced the event. One of the special highlights of the event was the screening of Naresh’s son Naveen Vijayakrishna’s short film, Sathya, starring Sai Durga Tej and Colours Swathi.
