Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki to have a non-linear screenplay?

Shah Rukh Khan is ready to win the hearts of the audience with his upcoming flick Dunki. The social comedy-drama is helmed by Rajkumar Hirani. The buzz is that the film will have a non-linear screenplay. In simple terms, a non-linear screenplay is something in which the story jumps back and forth in time to offer a unique experience.

Rajkumar Hirani tried this non-linear narrative style in his cult classic 3 Idiots. Abhijat Joshi, along with Hirani, penned the screenplay. Rajkumar Hirani himself edited Dunki like he always does for his films. Taapsee Pannu played the romantic interest of Shah Rukh Khan.

Dunki deals with Donkey flights and illegal immigration, which is now a burning issue in most of the countries. It would be interesting to see how Hirani would have handled this subject. Gauri Khan and Rajkumar Hirani produced the film. YRF is distributing Dunki in international markets.
