Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor’s latest movie Jersey is currently running in theaters. Today, leading OTT platform Amazon Prime Video has announced something big at a special event held in Mumbai.
The Kabir Singh actor is finally ready to make his digital debut on Prime Video. Raj & DK, well known for The Family Man series, announced a new web series called Farzi. Shahid Kapoor is playing a pivotal role in this series, which also has star actors Vijay Sethupathi, Raashii Khanna and Regina Cassandra.
Vijay plays a cop in this counterfeiting gang series. Shahid is an artist, who gets pulled into the murky high stakes of a con job and a fiery task force officer on the mission to rid the country of his menaces.
Produced by D2R Films for Prime Video, the thriller series has Kay Kay Menon, Zakir Hussain, Bhuvan Arora, Amol Palekar, Kubbra Sait and others in key roles.
