Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor was most recently seen in the action thriller Deva. Directed by Malayalam filmmaker Rosshan Andrews, Deva is the adaptation of Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Mumbai Police. Pooja Hegde played the female lead. Unfortunately, Deva couldn’t make any impact at the box office and became a big flop.
The latest update reveals that Deva will be available for streaming from tomorrow (March 28) on Netflix. The theatrical window is eight weeks. The film received mixed reviews from critics. Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Hegde’s performances were lauded, but the second half and screenplay were criticized severely.
Pavali Gulati, Pravessh Rana, Kubbra Sait, and Upendra Limaye played vital roles. Jakes Bejoy and Vishal Mishra composed the tunes. Siddharth Roy Kapur of Roy Kapur Films produced this flick. Deva’s climax was altered compared to the original. Let’s see how the movie will be received in the digital space.
