Shankar opens up about unfulfilled collaborations with Chiranjeevi, Mahesh Babu, and Prabhas

Game Changer, the highly anticipated political drama, stars Global Star Ram Charan and is directed by Shankar Shanmugam. Kiara Advani plays the female lead in this much-awaited pan-Indian film. A grand event to promote the movie recently took place in Dallas.

At the event, Shankar opened up about his journey in filmmaking and shared some intriguing details about his career. He revealed that for the past 15 years, he had hoped to collaborate with Megastar Chiranjeevi, but the project never materialized. He also expressed his desire to work with Mahesh Babu, but that plan didn’t come to fruition either.

Shankar went on to mention that during the pandemic, he had discussions with Prabhas about a potential film, but that too didn’t come to life. Ultimately, everything fell into place for him to team up with Ram Charan, and he expressed his deep gratitude for the chance to connect with the Telugu audience through Game Changer.

The film also features SJ Suryah, Naveen Chandra, Srikanth, Anjali, and Samuthirakani in prominent roles. Produced by Dil Raju, the movie boasts music by Thaman. The film is slated for the grand release on January 10, 2025.
