Actress Rashmika Mandanna has captured the nation’s attention with her performance in Allu Arjun and Sukumar’s blockbuster action drama, Pushpa 2: The Rule. The film has surpassed the Rs 1,000 crore milestone at the global box office and cemented Rashmika’s popularity across the country.

Rashmika will be next seen in Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s Sikander. In a latest interview with a popular Bollywood media house, Rashmika described the experience of working with a massive star like Salman Khan as “nerve-wracking.”

Rashmika went on to say that Sikandar is her first commercial Bollywood film. “All my Bollywood movies have got a performance-oriented screenplay, but this is the first time I’m actually going to become a heroine, so I’m really excited. She also added that she doesn’t want to be typecast. “I don’t want to be only taken for the performance. I want to be a part of full-blown commercial cinema as well. I want people to know that they can bank on me for that as well,” she concluded.

Sikandar is being directed by star Tamil filmmaker AR Murugadoss, and it also features Kajal Aggarwal, Suniel Shetty, and others in prominent roles. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film is slated for release during Eid next year.
