Sikandar is Bollywood Megastar Salman Khan’s next outing. The movie, directed by AR Murugadoss, features National Crush Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. However, the film couldn’t succeed in generating interest among moviegoers due to underwhelming promotional material.
Rashmika is currently ruling the roost in Bollywood. She scored back-to-back humongous blockbusters with Animal and Chhaava, both of which earned over Rs. 500 crores nett. Whatever she is touching has been turning into gold. On the other hand, Salman is going through a flop streak as his previous films failed to meet expectations.
Can Rashmika’s form work in favor of Sikandar and give Salman the much needed comeback? That remains to be seen. After the censor formalities, the makers trimmed a few scenes, and now the film will be 2 hours and 16 minutes long. Sajid Nadiadwala of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment produced this flick. Kajal Aggarwal and Sathyaraj played crucial roles.
