Siraj Miyan: Rajamouli lauds “our Tolichowki boy” after India’s thumping Aisa Cup win

Team India registered a thumping win against the hosts Sri Lanka and lifted the Asia Cup for the record 8th time. The Men in Blue outclassed the Lankans and restricted them to a shockingly low 50 runs in the Asia Cup finals in Colombo on Sunday evening.

Indian pacer Mohammad Siraj unleashed fire and scalped 6 wickets by conceding just 21 runs in 7 overs. And the numero uno director SS Rajamouli is mighty impressed with Siraj’s stupendous performance. The RRR director took to X and tweeted, “Siraj Miyan, Our Tolichowki boy shines at the Asia Cup final with 6 wickets…And has a big heart, running to long-on to stop the boundary off his own bowling… (sic).”

Siraj also became the first Indian bowler to take 4 wickets in a single over, eventually resulting in being awarded with the Man of the Match award.
