Malayalam star Tovino Thomas’ ambitious 50th film, Ajayante Randam Moshanam (ARM), is one of the most eagerly awaited biggies in Mollywood this year. The fantasy drama is touted as the most expensive project in Tovino’s career to date, and it will soon have a huge pan-Indian release. The film is shot in 3D format.
ARM’s much-awaited trailer was unveiled yesterday evening amid a lot of hype and expectations. The intriguing trailer starts off with a striking image of a fiery asteroid striking Earth, causing a massive explosion and scattering celestial particles. The action-packed trailer showcases impressive Kalaripayattu stunts performed by Tovino Thomas.
Going by the trailer, ARM is set in Northern Kerala across various timelines: 1900, 1950, and 1990. Tovino portrays three distinct characters—Maniyan, Kunjikkelu, and Ajayan—each striving to protect a vital treasure of the land through different generations. The spectacular trailer promises a visual spectacle with an intense story.
ARM is being directed by debutant Jithin Lal and produced by Listin Stephen under the banners Magic Frames and UGM Motion Pictures, in association with Dr. Zakaria Thomas. Krithi Shetty, Aiswarya Rajesh, and Surabhi Lakshmi are the leading ladies of ARM. The film is slated for release on September 12 in six languages, including Malayalam, Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. KGF makers at Hombale Films and top Tollywood production house Mythri Movie Makers, Baahubali Hindi distributor Anil Thadani will be releasing ARM on a grand note.
