Veeran, a Tamil superhero film starring Hip Hop Tamizha in the lead role, has hit the big screens recently. ARK Saravan directed it. As soon as its trailer dropped online, many started to opine that it was a remake of Malayalam’s first superhero film Minnal Murali. Later the team clarified that Veeran isn’t a remake but a straight film.
Veeran completed its theatrical run and is now set to make its OTT debut. Digital platform Prime Video has announced that Veeran will be available for streaming from June 30 in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.
This is a good opportunity for those who missed watching it in theatres. Produced by Satya Jyothi Films, Veeran also stars Vinay Rai, Athira Raj, Munishkanth, and Kaali Venkat in crucial roles. Hip Hop Tamizha himself composed the tunes for this flick.
