Dhanush starrer Raghuvaran B.Tech was initially released by renowned producer Sravanthi Ravikishore in Telugu under the Sri Sravanthi Movies banner on January 1, 2012. Back then, it was a huge blockbuster. Mr. Ravikishore released the film in Telugu as he was really fond of the concept. The movie created a market for Dhanush in Telugu, which was non-existent before.

The film is now being re-released on August 18th in more than a hundred screens in Telugu states. On the occasion of re-release, Ravikishore said that only a few films are evergreen movies, and one such film is ‘Raghuvaran B.Tech. He added that the film will connect students of every generation.

He went on to say that Dhanush lived in his role, and many students looked at themselves in Raghuvaran’s character. Director Kishore Tirumala penned the Telugu dialogues for this flick while Anirudh composed the tunes. The advance bookings trend indicates that youngsters are still connected to the film.

Surabhi played a vital role in the movie, whereas Amala Paul played the female lead. Saranya and Samuthirakani acted as Dhanush’s parents. Vivek, Hrishikesh, and Amitash Pradhan played other crucial roles. Vel Raj directed this gem of a film.
