Atlee’s directorial is setting new benchmarks at the box office and is still going strong despite new releases. Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi played key roles in this action drama.
Jawan has now created history by becoming the highest Indian grosser in the Middle East region. Jawan is also the first Indian film to cross 16 million dollars (approximately 133 crores) in this territory. The movie has collected more than 370 crores gross from overseas markets, and it was possible only due to the star power of King Khan.
YRF distributed the film in the international markets. Jawan is nearing the 1100 crore gross mark at the worldwide box office while the current Hindi version total stands at 558 crore nett. Telugu and Tamil versions amassed 60 crores nett as of now. Gauri Khan produced this action spectacle under Red Chillies Entertainment.
