SRK’s King makers trying to rope in a South actor for villain role

Bollywood Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan delivered two 1000 crore grossers in a single year with Pathaan and Jawan. Dunki, directed by Raj Kumar Hirani, did decent business, but the movie didn’t reach the expectations completely. Shah Rukh’s next project is titled King, and Sujoy Ghosh will direct it. The project marks the silver screen debut of SRK’s daughter Suhana Khan.

In an interview, Shah Rukh Khan himself stated that the project would go on floors either in July or August. But it looks like the movie will not start anytime soon. The word is that the makers of King are trying to rope in a South Indian actor for the antagonist role. The makers are said to have also initiated talks with a few big names in South cinema and we need to see who will play the villain.

As the casting is still in process, the production is getting delayed. Shah Rukh Khan is once again essaying a don role in King. Fans are pretty much excited to see King Khan play a don after the iconic Don franchise. Pathaan director Siddharth Anand will oversee the action portions of King.
